Two of the series for which Zoic Studios masterminded the vfx are nominated for VES Awards, putting Zoic in the enviable position of competing against itself. Once Upon A Time: The Stranger and Falling Skies: Worlds Apart were chosen as contenders for the honor of Outstanding Visual Effects in a Broadcast Program.

Zoic Studios frequently receives multiple nominations at the prestigious awards, which this year will honor Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Life of Pi, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) with its Visionary Award.
