Park Pictures‘ Lance Acord won the top Cinematography prize yesterday at the New York AICP Show for Nike “The Chosen” :90, which he also directed. The campaign was executive produced by Jackie Kelman Bisbee, Justin Pollock & Mary Ann Marino and the agency, 72andSunny.

Nike’s ‘The Chosen’ multi-sport campaign features skateboarding, snowboarding and surfing with the likes of Mason Aguirre, Peetu Piiroinen, Louie Vito, Greg Bretz, Paul Rodriguez, Theotis Beasley, Omar Salazar, Julian Wilson, Alejo Muniz, Monyca Byrne-Wickey, Michel Bourez, Kolohe Andino and Malia Manuel. Police escorts through the cities, perfect pipes and night waves make the visuals extra stunning. Agency Creative Directors are John Boiler, Glenn Cole, Jason Norcross and Matt Murphy.

AICP honors for Advertising Excellence/Campaign went to Moxie Pictures’ Google Chrome campaign “Dear Sophie”, directed by Henry & Rel.

Advertising Agencies BBH New York & Google Creative Lab used Moxie Pictures as creative consultant on the project, in which a father uses the web to share memories with his daughter as she grows up in this video depiction. A poignant yet simple piano acompanyment  by Ingrid Michaelson, licensed by Moxie sister company Search Party, adds to the substantial emotional clout of the commercial.
