Venice, CA-based Backyard director Nick Piper artfully captures the love behind the cup in the new :30 “Farm” for Voskos Greek Yogurt out of Riester, Phoenix, AZ. The spot follows a charming young girl who takes us behind the scenes at her family’s bucolic farm, highlighting its day-to-day operation.
Piper delivers his signature brand of meticulous composition with spot-on casting and authentic performances. He uses these filmmaking tricks to give an intimate and even idyllic snapshot of family life on a farm.
The spot opens on the girl opening a barn door with her dad, declaring, “A lot goes in to making Voskos Authentic Greek Yogurt… without a lot going in to it.” We see her family happily tending to dairy cows, picking fruit in a bountiful orchard and collecting honey from a beehive super. She continues, “Farm-fresh milk and fruit picked right from the orchard. In fact, one healthy taste is all it takes to love Voskos… a lot.” The girl enjoys a cup of Voskos while sitting on a fence as she concludes, “Happiness in every spoonful.”
