Robot & Frank stars Liv Tyler and Frank Langella at Hamptons event

The home of the man who inspired Mad Men, Jerry Della Femina, was the setting for the Hamptons debut of Jake Schreier’s award-winning feature Robot & Frank. The director joined the film’s producers, Park Pictures’ Galt Niederhoffer, Sam Bisbee, Jackie Kelman Bisbee and Lance Acord, to host numerous media personalities at the event including Susan Sarandon, John Leguizamo, John Slattery (Mad Men), Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Judith Giuliani, Russell Simmons, Matthew Settle (Gossip Girl), Zosia Mamet (Girls), Kelly Klein, Hilary Rhoda, Gabby Karan & Gianpaolo de Felice, CNN’s Alina Cho, and Jerry Della Femina & Judy Licht.

Picked up for North American distribution at Sundance 2011 by Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions (SPWA) and Samuel Goldwyn Films, the futuristic comedy stars Susan Sarandon, Liv Tyler, Frank Langella, Peter Sarsgaard and James Marsden. The picture comes to theaters August 24 and is rated PG-13.
