Sonic Union mixer Michael Marinelli teams up with Biscuit Filmworks to show how GE’s infrastructure is prepared for whatever might come its way – including an octopus storm – in the new :60 “Raining Octopuses” out of BBDO New York. In the spot, schoolchildren pick up surprise new friends on playgrounds, a wedding is rained-out with octopus intruders and startled drivers careen off roads as thousands of the aquatic creatures rain down from the sky. However, not even this apocalyptic storm can stop GE’s planes, trains, power grids and hospitals from functioning.
