This fall, sweetgreen celebrated the launch of their nationwide collaboration with chef Dan Barber and Row 7 Seed Company.

For background, Row 7 is a new seed company that places flavor first by pairing chefs and plant breeders together in the development of new varieties of vegetables. Sweetgreen is the first mass-scale partner to work with Row 7 in its mission to make better ingredients more accessible to everyone.

The collaboration celebrates seed varieties across the country through sweetgreen’s community of growers and customers. With over 150+ local farmers, six of whom planted and harvested over 23 acres of Row 7‘s Koginut Squash, sweetgreen shares Row 7‘s commitment to delicious, sustainable and nutritious food from the ground up.
