Park Pictures director Lance Acord takes a reflective approach to doing taxes in the new :90 “The Year of You,” for TurboTax out of Wieden+Kennedy, Portland. The spots peers back on a year’s worth of accomplishments, ranging from personal fitness triumphs, to more poignant and vexing achievements such as raising a child, tying the knot or earning a coveted job promotion. The jovial look back highlights the fact that you are the resident expert on your life’s events, making you the ideal candidate to do your own taxes. The spot launched during the Rose Bowl game on January 1st.

Also in 2012, Park Pictures Features debuted its premiere project with the Sundance hit Robot & Frank, directed by Park director Jake Schreier and starring Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, Jeremy Strong and Peter Sarsgaard. Park Pictures’ feature God’s Pocket, directed by John Slattery and starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Infinitely Polar Bear, directed by Maya Forbes and starring Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana, were both chosen for dramatic competition at Sundance 2014.
