Participating agencies include AKQA, Baker Advertising, Barrett SF, Carat, DDB, Digitas LBi, Geary LSF, Pappas, Periera O’Dell, Propane Studio, R/GA, TwoFifteenMcCann, Y & R California and West. ‘ADWKSF’ topics include a “Digital Innovation” Keynote, “How to Get a Job”, “The Meaning of Storytelling in Today’s Marketing World” and “Culture and Code,” among others.
“Our goal with ‘ADWKSF’ is to draw awareness to the great agencies we have in San Francisco and to show off their amazing work,” notes Thomas Moyer, ADWKSF Co-Founder. “Young professionals who are early in their careers will learn about different aspects of advertising from ad execs with real life experience,” adds Moyer.
ADWKSF Co-Founder Heather Diaz further explains that leaders from the marketing, media, technology, and advertising industry will oversee the week, which is dedicated to showcasing the San Francisco advertising and marketing industry. Sponsors outside of the agency world include SFEgotist, Rocket Fuel, AOL, Academy of Art University, General Assembly, and Greater San Francisco Ad Club.
