The summer sports season is officially in session! In London, Wimbledon is heating up, while this year’s epic FIFA World Cup, taking place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, continues apace. Here, find Vogue’s roundup of all the starriest—and most stylish—sports parties of the season.

People’s Popped Up Across the Pond During Wimbledon Week

For its inaugural international outpost, Greenwich Village boîte People’s touched down in London for a five-night residency. Hosted at Nellie’s Tavern (Simpson’s in the Strand’s subterranean cocktail lounge), the Brits flocked in their droves to sample the club’s New York-approved burger, washing it down with a chilled glass plucked from the Moët and Chandon Champagne tower. Door-doyen Frankie Carattini also flew in specially to ensure his preferred level of “R.O.A.R”—right of admission reserved—even prompting one guest who arrived dressed in shorts to cut his breeches into a mini skirt (Carattini had maintained that the latter was ok, but the former was most certainly not appropriate for inside). It was a return to home turf for People’s co-founder—and recent Vogue Weddings bride—Margot Hauer-King, who’s a Londoner through-and-through. Among those who stepped out to have a knees-up with her and her co-founder Emmet McDermott were her father Jeremy King (the force behind the revived Simpson’s), Ralph Fiennes, Joe Locke, Zoë Wanamaker, Mickey Down, Dylan Mulvaney, Julia Hobbs, Tatiana Hambro, Darnell Strom, and many, many more. —Freya Drohan
