Durable Goods award-winning director Neil Tardio serves up a touchdown-worthy combination in a new :30 spot “New Shoes” for McDonald’s out of Burrell Communications. The spot shows a mother scoring big with her teenage son, saving the day after a round of sloppy gameday footwork. After witnessing his cringe-worthy mishaps, she opts to save her extra funds for new shoes, surprising him over Dollar Menu burgers with a shiny new pair of football cleats.
The spot promotes Mcdonald’s new Dollar Menu. The $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu features bargain items at three different price points, with each tier including a breakfast, burger, chicken and drink item.
