Christopher Harrington

Imaginary Forces announces that Christopher Harrington, former Creative Director for MartianCraft, has joined IF in a new position as Director of User Experience and Technology, reporting to Executive Producer and General Manager Gabriel Marquez. Harrington will oversee the strategic direction, growth and operation of Imaginary Forces’ interactive capabilities.

Says Imaginary Forces Co-Founder/Creative Director Peter Frankfurt, “The world is becoming increasingly digital in every aspect. Every concept should be perceived to have an array of solutions. We are looking forward to having Christopher leverage his ability to articulate his technical expertise, getting creatives at IF to think about approaching projects in a new way.”

“I’m honored to be working with the amazingly talented people at Imaginary Forces,” said Harrington. “Storytelling is at the heart of what IF does, and it is at the heart of user experience. In the future, everything is digital and connected. I’m excited to bring the art and technology of storytelling to the next level.”

Harrington brings his twenty years of success to Imaginary Forces’ New York office from MartianCraft where he oversaw the design and user experience of the critically acclaimed Briefs: a Mac and iOS application that allows people to create native interactive prototypes for iPhone and iPad. Prior to his time at MartianCraft, he was the Lead Information Architect at Behavior, earning over forty industry awards including three Webbys and nine W3 awards for his work with clients such as HBO, National Geographic and Apple. Harrington also hosts a popular podcast with co-host Maggie McFee titled, ‘Ruining It For Everyone’ where they discuss the history and future of technology and storytelling.
