Maybe it makes the list because it made everyone tear up, but regardless, Apple’s aptly named “Heartstrings” spot demonstrates that how we hear influences how we connect with the world – and how much it means for one “girl dad”.

A boy befriends an octopus at the beach and sets off on a sky-high adventure in the sweet Disney holiday short “The Boy and the Octopus”. A fresh take on holiday themes, the film already has over 10M views and counting. Anyone else who grew up with warm Christmases can relate.
