Tank and The Bangas’ album “Red Balloon” was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album, which includes the slow and sumptuous “Heavy” co-written by HiFi Project composer and engineer Kevin Theodore. The Grammys air and stream digitally live on February 5, 2023 at 4 PM PST. “Red Balloon” also features three additional songs co-written by Kevin.

An ode to trust and all of a relationship’s weighty truths, the track outlines the importance of opening oneself to ‘heavy’ love as well as heavy burdens, all to build strong foundations for trust.
