VR on the Lot, among the most entertainment-centric Content, Technology & Professional Education conferences, will roll into West Hollywood from October 13-14, 2017. Here, top talk business, offer demonstrations and share insights with their industry peers and colleagues in one VR and AR-meets-Hollywood weekend. Participating film and AR/VR brands include Time Inc., Unity, Legend, Sony, Nokia and Oculus, among others.

Joining the conference’s experts is Pasadena-based VR studio SunnyBoy Entertainment Co-Founder Harold Hayes Jr., who shares his expertise on the “VR for Franchises” panel on Saturday, October 14 at 1:10 PM. Hayes, a creative director and co-owner of SunnyBoy Entertainment, lends his expertise specializing in a new era of entertainment for top studios and distributors, including Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, FOX and more. Having had the foresight to shift his storytelling efforts toward the emerging VR and AR platform–creating VR content for top film franchises, including IT – FLOAT: A Cinematic VR Experience, Annabelle: Creation – Bee’s Room and more–Hayes will speak to the unity between VR’s emerging viability and Hollywood studios as they embrace the new medium for their most popular and engaging film franchises.

With the creation of high-end cinematic experiences for Hollywood studios and upcoming original content, Hayes and his partner Craig S. Phillips have positioned the studio and its creative offerings to break new ground within the intersection of entertainment in VR and AR.
