Bicoastal production company Park Pictures’ director Tom Tagholm teams up with BBDO New York to help HP “keep reinventing,” using the upcoming release of the latest Star Wars movie as creative inspiration. In “Reinvent Romance,” a teenage boy painstakingly recreates a replica of his favorite robot, R2-D2, using HP technology to mold the robot and then watch via internal camera as R2-D2 delivers movie tickets to Star Wars: The Force Awakens to his girlfriend’s front door. In “Instant Ink Battle,” a family spends a creative day at home dressing up as Star Wars characters and holding light saber battles. But the fun is far from over once the dress-up ends – Dad then uses his HP Instant Ink photo printer to create a flipbook, animating the children as they battle evil. The finished product makes a heartwarming gift for the children’s grandfather.
