Superior cleaning power without the chemicals

Water — yes, that’s right, H2O — can remove up to 100% of bacteria from any surface when combined with the power of ultra-fine microfiber. That’s the message Zabada (@ZabadaClean) brought to the U.S. during its San Francisco launch this week. The Australian company’s eco-friendly household cleaning line was founded by Damian Pike and Barb de Corti, who launched a sister product line named ENJO, which is currently found in 20% of Australian homes.

Zabada offers a wide range of cleaning products for the kitchen, living room, bathroom and more. By using microfiber cloths 1,000 times finer than human hair, Zabada’s products remove dirt and bacteria with merely water – no additives necessary. This Austrian-made product line is hand-sewn to exact European ISO standards, ensuring a deep clean scientifically proven to rid homes of 90% of harmful household chemicals.

Zabada’s environmental thought leaders toured San Francisco this week, demonstrating how the company’s microfiber cloths (when combined with water) decrease bacteria levels from household areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and floors. The science of this process is proved by using a bacteria monitoring device called a Lumitester to measure bacteria levels on a surface before and after cleaning with Zabada. Bloggers, high end restauranteurs and eco-friendly activists marveled at the demonstrations, where the Lumitester’s  speedy measurements showed that Zabada’s microfiber products removed exponentially more bacteria than leading household chemical cleaners, including those claiming to be “environmentally friendly.”

Earlier this week, Press Kitchen and Zabada hosted a blogger event which showcased Zabada’s wide variety of products. Guests sipped on all-natural premade Acai fruit cocktails by VeeV while listening to Damian’s animated product demos. They also got to view the Yodel Against Yuck cleaning challenge, where a series of leading chemical cleaners were tested against Zabada; the chemical cleaners yielded higher bacterial counts and increased chemical exposure every time.

At the end of the night, guests took home samples of Zabada’s living room products to test in their own homes.

Damian and Barb also headed to Marin, where they introduced Zabada to Teens Turning Green, an organization which partners with high schools and universities around the country in an effort to empower youths to continue shaping a sustainable future. The duo also visited the picturesque Cavallo Point (ranked the #5 top resort in the US), where Damian conducted the Lumitester demo for the executive chef.

Zabada’s ground-breaking U.S. product launch signifies the company’s devotion to educating consumers on the right way to clean. Visit the Zabada homepage for more information and to order chemical-free products for your home.
