This morning’s AICP Shortlist 2013 announcement brought accolades for many jobs well done. Shortlisted for Advertising Excellence were 3 Park Pictures campaigns, the commercial Nike “Jogger”, (dir. Lance Acord) the Nike “Find Your Greatness” campaign (dirs. Lance Acord and Seb Edwards) and Audi “Swan” (dir. Joachim Back.) The Direction shortlist includes NFL “Leon Sandcatle”, directed by Moxie Pictures’ Errol Morris.

Visual Style contenders include Moxie Pictures for Nike “Ringmaker” (dir. Errol Morris) and The Mission for “Vapor Trail”, also for Nike. “Vapor Trail,” won additional shortlist nods for The Mission in Visual Effects and Editorial categories.

Moxie Pictures was shortlisted in the Viral/Web Film category for ESPN “Team Spirit” (dir. Errol Morris), in the Social category for “Sip it up” (dirs. Henry & Rel), in Design for Sony Xperia “Made of Imagination (dir. Wes Anderson.), and in AdvertisingExcellence/Campaign for “It’s Not Crazy, It’s Sports (dir Errol Morris).

Cutting Room cut it up in the Humor category with NY Lottery “Writers Room” (dir. Mark Zibert, editor Chuck Willis) which was also shortlisted in the copywriting category.

Shortlist recognition for AT&T “Daybreak”, with vfx by Zoic Studios, came in the Integrated Campaign category. The Musical Arrangement shortlist named NBA “Big Color” a contender, directed by Park Pictures’ Michael FitzMaurice.
