Venice, CA/NYC-based Backyard director Kevin Smith captures a clutch relationship save in the humorous new :30 “Our Song” for AT&T out of Sanders\Wingo, Austin, TX.  The spot features a man clandestinely using his lightning-fast mobile network to recount important song lyrics while dancing with his wife.

“Our Song” opens on a young couple slow-dancing at a wedding reception.  The man’s lovely wife is absorbed in the tune, singing every lyric perfectly.  He on the other hand can’t seem to recall the words to ‘their song.’  Scrambling to save himself, he whips out his smart phone to retrieve the exact lyrics and manages to sing as if he wrote the ditty himself.  A voiceover concludes, “When seconds matter most, connect on AT&T.  The nation’s fastest 4G LTE Network.”  The AT&T logo closes out the spot.
