Directing duo Diego (L) and Vladi (R)

Los Angeles-based Boxer Films has signed directing duo Diego & Vladi for U.S. commercial representation. The duo have been directing together since 2005 and have won numerous awards, including four Cannes Lions for work with top agencies such as JWT, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather, DDB, Leo Burnett, Lowe, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis and Young & Rubicam.  With a background in both film and theatre direction, the duo focuses on stunning visuals and evoking compelling acting performances in every project.  Diego & Vladi are repped in Argentina and Spain Agosto, in Colombia by Imaginaria Films, in Chile by CineMagica and in Perú by Patria.

Argentinean-born Diego and Colombian Vladi met in Buenos Aires Film University where they both studied Film Direction.  Diego also studied Literature at Buenos Aires University and Vladi graduated with a degree in Anthropology from the University of Montreal.  They began directing together in 2005 and were chosen as Best Directors of Colombia in El Ojo de Iberomerica in 2007 and 2008.  In 2011, they took home four Cannes Lions for their campaign for Argentinean air conditioner brand BGH out of Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Buenos Aires.

Vladi’s short film “Soy Tan Feliz” was nominated for La Palme d’Or at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and was selected for numerous festivals including Slamdance, Glasgow, Sao Paulo, Zagreb and Rio de Janeiro, among others.  He has worked as a 2nd Unit Director and 1st AD for several feature films in Latin America and France.  Diego’s first short film, “De cómo Buckowsi,” was selected for numerous film festivals worldwide including Berlin, Interfilm Short Festival and was awarded an honorable mention by the jury of the Festival of Sao Paulo.
