Los Angeles-based Boxer Films director Justin Klarenbeck leads crowds of electronics-buyers with the allure of superheroes in the humorous new :30 “Super Store” for European electronics super store Comfy out of Leo Burnet, Worldwide.  The spot features a posse of eager shoppers snapping their fingers as music plays while they strut through the streets to the nearest Comfy store led by a duo of flashy superheroes.

“Super Store” opens on the close-up of fingers snapping to a cheerful tune. We cut to a lively crowd walking down the street snapping away as more people leave their homes and cars to join. Led by two superheroes, the crowd grows larger as they walk toward a Comfy Super Store. Before the crowd enters the store, a super heroine appears from the store’s entrance to join the other superheroes. The spot zooms out to show an aerial view of the store parking lot, in which the massive crowd forms the shape of a person walking toward Comfy. We then cut to the trio of superheroes continuing to snap their fingers to the music. Again, an aerial view of the parking lot is shown, but this time, the crowd forms the shape of a person walking away from the store holding a coveted purchase. A voice over accompanies the scene stating, “More customers means lower prices, so everyone is a hero when they shop at Comfy.” The spot closes on the super “Comfy The ‘Super’ Store” along with the Comfy phone number and URL.
