New Yorkers: Want to give back to a worthy cause?

On Wednesday, June 1, the Artists for Peace and Justice/Cine Institute and French Institute:Alliance Francais are hosting Haiti Optimiste, a celebration of creativity and culture through music, dance and film.

Guests will enjoy a special screening of Dans la cour de Vivianne Gauthier, as well as musical performances by Paul Beaubrun, Lakou Mizik and Riva Précil with Bohio Music.

An exclusive cocktail reception will follow the show, featuring catered Haitian cuisine and cocktails by Nadege Fleurimond.

Northern Lights’ David Gioiella and Mark Littman are on the host committee, and are excited to bring awareness to this important cause.

All proceeds benefit Artists for Peace and Justice, Cine Institute and Audio Institute.
