New Branded Viral Video Promotes JVC’s KW-NT3HDT In-Dash Navigation & Receiver
Hollywood, CA, May 24, 2010: Hollywood-based Maneater
Productions’ director Steven Lippman modernizes A Hard Day’s Night in
a new 5-minute branded video for JVC and The All-American Rejects, “Turn Me On 3” out of e2amp, LA. Watch the viral at http://maneaterproductions.com/_JVC_TMO3.mov

Currently posted on EgoTV, the video features three cars-full of female fans using JVC’s bleeding-edge navigation, music player and receiver systems to chase the band across Los Angeles. “Turn Me On 3” is the third collaboration between Maneater’sLippman and JVC, with last year’s “Turn Me On 2” receiving over 12 million hits online.

The video, set to four of the band’s hits, starts with the beautiful fans
finding out their beloved band has hijacked their own tour van. Once the
girls finally get their eyes on the van—aided by the navigation system—the
real chase begins, culminating in a full-fledged All-American Rejects
concert.

Says director Lippman, “A major goal of the production was to have
these multiple JVC products appear organically as part of the overall
story. We wanted it to play more as a film and not 5-minutes of heavy
product placement. I feel we achieved that.”

JVC teamed with DUB Magazine and male-lifestyle website EgoTV as
campaign sponsors, with EgoTV hosting the video and providing
marketing, promotion and channel development. The video is receiving the royal treatment with a May 18th bash celebrating its launch (see pictures of the rock-filled evening: http://egotvonline.com/2010/05/19/gallery-egotv-at-jvc-video-release-party/), online banner ads, radio promotions and showings on JVC’s
Times Square video billboard.
