Park Pictures 300ml directed the shiver-inducing new “Bats” commercial out of Zohar Advertising for Skol Beats (brand: Skol) in Brazil. Shot in Brazil via Labhouse, the spot features an eerie nighttime journey through city streets.

The shadow of a figure hanging upside down is glimpsed. As a slew of upside down hanging, bat-like people emerge, hanging in a deep slumber all over the city, a gruff voice over poetically asks of the sun, “Don’t frighten our friends, for they need never-ending fun.” Phone booths, swimming pool buildings, apartments and even public transportation are populated, in this fantastic realm, with bat like beings.

“Sun stay where you are and everything will be fine,” the VO concludes, as a bottle of Skol (alcoholic beverage) is opened, causing the bat-people across the city to suddenly open their eyes. A shot of the bottle with the tagline “For Creatures of the Night” concludes the spot.
