Park Pictures director AG Rojas delivers a journey against all odds in the inspirational “Nico’s Story” for Powerade out of Wieden+Kennedy, Amsterdam. The spot tells the story of one-legged Nico Calabria, who defies all of his physical limitations to not only play alongside his peers, but develop the athletic talent to be a champion. The story journeys from his early determination to make his first steps to his triumphs on the soccer pitch as a fiercely competitive, an entirely unlimited teenager.
