Bicoastal production company Park Pictures’ director Tom Tagholm pulls at the heartstrings to raise awareness for the unforgiving nature of heart disease for the British Heart Foundation in the new 1:10 “Classroom” out of DLKW Lowe. The spot shows a young boy studying away in his classroom, when his father suddenly appears in front of him and delivers a gut-wrenching good-bye to his son and a plea to “watch over your mother.” With no explanation, he is gone, and the child is called to the principal’s office to be given the devastating news that his father has passed away from a heart attack.

The “Heart Disease is Heartless” campaign also includes the web films “Amazing Dog,” featuring a dog who is suddenly left without an owner during a routine game of fetch without warning, “Calling Home,” where an anniversary Skype call ends in tragedy, and “Alive,” with testimonies from lucky survivors of the disease, that will be hosted on the British Heart Foundation’s YouTube channel.
