Park Pictures director Lance Acord brought home a 2014 Gold Cannes Lions in Film Craft in Direction for the affecting “Pick Them Back Up” for P&G’s Olympics offerings out of Wieden+Kennedy. The spot, which recently was honored with an AICP Award, paints an artful homage to those who have truly driven the success of the world’s most elite athletes: their mothers. The touching spot follows a skier, ice skater, snowboarder and hockey player from their early spills, to their professional blunders, continuing over the years to be inspired by the unyielding support of their mothers.

In less than a year of being in business, HēLō nabs their first Cannes Lions, with a Gold win for Film Craft for the Jeff Tremaine-directed “Ian Up For Whatever” spot for Bud Light out of BBDO. The spot takes an unsuspecting New Yorker out for the “Epic Night” of his life, complete with a style consultation with Minka Kelly, elevator ride with Don Cheadle (and llama), ping pong challenge with Arnold Schwarzenegger and live concert and bash with One Republic. The HēLō team meticulously prepared the complex production, managing the 58 hidden cameras, actors, numerous locations, lighting and sound to deliver Ian a night that he would never forget. The spot was also recently honored with a Silver Lion for Promo & Activation and an AICP Award in Production.
