Park Pictures director Lance Acord dives into the wistful fearlessness of young love in the charming :90 “Pick Up” for Firestone out of Leo Burnett, Chicago. The spot features a young man who whisks his bride-to-be away in his pickup for a shotgun wedding, encountering the occasional roadblock, not the least of which includes an unexpected showdown with the bride’s less-than-ecstatic parents.
