Bicoastal production company Park Pictures Emmy-winning director Lance Acord discovers creative curiosity can always be unearthed through the eyes of youthful imagination in the charming new short “Jane” for Sprout by HP, out of 180LA. The spot peers into the life of a woman who has lost her enthusiasm for art and creativity in the bureaucratic constraints of corporate life, leaving her childhood full of arts and crafts, playtime and freedom long forgotten. However, when she sees her own daughter exploring her imagination, her enthusiasm is revived and she rediscovers the freedom to play all over again using the all-in-one desktop platform.

The music, a cover of Supertramp’s “The Logical Song,” was recorded by children enrolled in the Silverlake Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, a nonprofit educational organization founded by Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Michael “Flea” Balzary and Keith “Tree” Barry.
