The 2014 AICP winners have been announced and Park Pictures had a big night taking home four honors.  Lance Acord’s Apple 1:30 “Misunderstood” won for DIRECTION and EDITORIAL, and his 2:00 “Pick Them Back Up” for P&G also won for EDITORIAL.  “Misunderstood” released for the holidays, and “Pick Them Back Up,” created for the Winter Olympics, are both remarkably affecting familial portraits.

Park director A.G. Rojas’ Duracell :60 “Derrick Coleman/Trust the Power Within” won for SOUND DESIGN.  The spot features Coleman becoming an NFL champion despite being hearing impaired.

HēLō’s epic Super Bowl XLVIII 1:38 “Whatever Happens Innovation” for Bud Light, directed by Jeff Tremaine and produced by Justin Moore-Lewy and Robert Lewis, won for PRODUCTION.  The spot stars an unassuming man named Ian and Arnold Schwarzenegger, among many other celebrities.
