The 2014 Sundance Film Festival opened yesterday on a cold, beautiful January day.  This afternoon at 3:30 at Eccles Theatre, one of Park Pictures Features’ new films God’s Pocket, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Richard Jenkins, Christina Hendricks and John Turturro, will have its world premiere.  People on the streets here in Park City can’t stop buzzing about the U.S. Dramatic Competition film.  Another U.S. Dramatic Competition offering festivalgoers have on the brain is also a Park Pictures Features film, Infinitely Polar Bear.  The film stars Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana, and has its world premiere at Eccles Theatre tomorrow at 12:15pm.

Also at Sundance is Warpaint director Adam Wingard’s feature The Guest, playing in the Park City at Midnight category.  The high-octane action thriller about a family befriending a man who is not who he claims to be, has its world premiere tonight at 11:45 at the Library Center Theatre.  Wingard’s previous films include You’re Next, V/H/S and V/H/S/2.
