Virtual reality is taking over the future of gaming and alternative reality. E3 is the breaking point for the VR revolution. The gaming industry is moving toward keeping the ways of the past through upgrades of gaming consoles while adding virtual reality into the mix.

The newest VR trend is game masks and headgear. It essentially started in 2007 with Halo 3: Legendary Edition offering a cat-sized helmet and last year Capcom Megaman offered a helmet but no game. In 2016, gamers can pre-order the Titan 2 helmet and Dishonored 2 mask from Bethesda.
