The latest installment from Florence + the Machine’s latest LP, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, directed by Park Pictures’ Vincent Haycock, has been released. Featuring the lush and emotional tracks “Queen of Peace” and “Long & Lost,” the artful short film is the latest release of Haycock and Welch’s visual campaign “The Odyssey.” The collaboration between Haycock and Florence Welch has been hailed as groundbreaking in the music video world, and Ship to Wreck is currently nominated for an MTV VMA for Best Rock Video.

Filmed on Scotland’s lush Isle of Easdale, the cinematic video depicts the clash of a youthful Welch’s innocence and compassion against the rampant violent feuding in her midst. The raw emotional performance of Welch is artfully juxtaposed with the striking winter landscapes of Scotland. “The Odyssey” is a series of films set to cover all tracks in the album over 2015-2016, and will culminate in a long, chaptered musical film.

Queen of Peace

Haycock previously helmed the initial chapters from “The Odyssey” series, “St. Jude” and “What Kind of Man” and “Ship to Wreck.”
